It’s time to Adapt4Action

Adam Rosenbaum and Mathew Lebowitz have a vision: their brand Adapt4Action aims to draw the focus away from how disabilities limit people’s activities and instead highlight the capabilities of injured athletes. To achieve this, they have a large variety of items ranging from organic t-shirts to mugs displaying a ‘forward-thinking, empowerment icon’ for each of the respective sports represented by the brand. Whether you are mastering a nordic ski chair, alpine device, hand cycle, or surf board, the website offers a section for you to personalize your gear with the icon of your choosing.

ImageNotice that little grey bar at the bottom? 10% of sale benefits for all items goes directly to the Wounded Warrior Project. The project aims to raise awareness and enlist the public’s aid for the needs of injured service members, as well as honor and empower wounded warriors. Sponsored by big names such as Under Armour and Tough Mudder, the initiative provides structured programs for those with enlisted-related injuries. This year, the WWP has organized 8k runs in Jacksonville, San Antonio and Franklin to further awareness and show support. To find out more, click on the image below:
